The International Association of Lemon Law Administrators organization supports and promotes government agencies that administer motor vehicle warranty and related laws, through the publication of a newsletter, consumer and industry education, and other intergovernmental activities. If you are still unsuccessful, consider contacting the other organizations that handle consumer complaints.International Association of Lemon Law Administrators If you believe you have a safety problem with your vehicle, report it to the National Highway
Traffic Safety Administration Auto Safety Hotline. Lemon laws are defined by each states laws
as well as the auto manufactures warranty. These rights are generally
greater than what the manufacturer or dealer will admit to. Before contacting one of these programs, try to resolve the complaint with the company.
If you still cannot resolve your problem, contact one of the third-party resolution
programs. If you suspect you have a vehicle problem that might fall under your state's lemon law, call your local or state consumer protection agency to find out about your rights under the lemon law. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration also provides recall and crash test information, but does not handle complaints. COPYRIGHT-2001 - 2011 #1 AUTO & CAR
